You might think if you have been to one Disney park you have essentially been to them all. However, every single Disney park has something different & unique about it. The castles are all different and several of the attractions are different too. One of the many things I love about visiting different Disney parks is seeing the differences in the rides. Here is a list of the best rides Disneyland Paris has to offer.

Best Rides Disneyland Paris

The map of Disneyland Park

If you have ever been to another Disney park you might look at the map and think some things look familiar. You see Space Mountain and Star Tours on the right side of the park. And Big Thunder Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean on the left side. The only ride that I went on which felt somewhat identical to the rides in the states was Buzz Lightyear astro blasters. It’s still a fun ride but there was nothing special enough about it for it to make the list of the best rides. I wish I had a picture of every single ride that will make this list but I had some issues charging my camera. Guess I will just have to go back!

Space Mountain Mission 2

Space Mountain is a beloved ride at every Disney park it is in. Thrill ride lovers will really enjoy the version of Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris. What makes this version so great? It goes upside down three times. The theming of the attraction is different from the parks in the states too.

It’s A Small World

One of my favorite attractions inside Disneyland Park was It’s A Small World. Their Small World felt so fresh and new that I was in awe! I also absolutely loved the fact that they have a Hollywood section in the ride. The outside was so beautiful with the pastel colors. My Grandpa and I could not get enough of this ride. Sure, it is one of the least thrilling rides Disneyland Paris has but it is special.

Phantom Manor

Phantom Manor is the Disneyland Paris version of the Haunted Mansion. My Disney co workers raved about Phantom Manor and told me it is a do not miss type of ride. I 100% agree. The Paris version of the ride is longer than the one in the states and has more of a western theme since it is in Frontierland. The theming of the attraction is fabulous! You will not be disappointed by this ride.

Big Thunder Mountain

On this version of Big Thunder Mountain you start out on the landslide of Frontierland. Once you board the train you travel under water and arrive at Big Thunder Mountain in the middle of a river. This is a great family friendly roller coaster.

Pirates of the Caribbean

The outside of the ride is a fantastic photo spot with a skull rock and a pirate ship. Inside the ride you will find fantastic decor. Just like the Pirates rides in the states there is a drop on the ride so expect that you could get wet. However, this version of the ride includes a photo op on the drop so be sure to smile!

Best Rides Walt Disney Studios

RC Racer

toy story playland

As a big fan of Toy Story I loved the Toy Story Playland area of Walt Disney Studios at Disneyland Paris. The best ride in this land is RC Racer. Once you’re strapped in on the ride you go back and forth on a short track. Each time you go up higher and higher. The ride is cute and a lot of fun!

Ratatouille The Adventure

Perhaps the ride that I was looking forward to the most was Ratatouille Adventure because it opened a few months before my visit. The ride is adorable! It is a 3d ride. You sit inside a rat car and are shrunk down to the size of the rat as you travel through a restaurant and the city of Paris. The ride is so much fun. I highly recommend doing the single rider line for a short wait.

Crush’s Coaster

This roller coaster is inspired by the Finding Nemo movie. You sit inside a turtle shell and follow Crush on the EAC (East Australian Current). Your shell rotates throughout the roller coaster that is both indoors and outdoors. It made me a bit dizzy but it was really fun and I’m glad I rode it. The line for this ride gets long very quick. Consider making this your first attraction of the day.

Disneyland, at any part of the world is so majestic! I love that each of the sites have their own unique features yet still manage to maintain the same feel. It’s definitely worth going to!

My dad had a 3 month job in Paris about 15 years ago. My mom and I came over for about 3 weeks when my oldest was only 13 months old. We had the best time. One weekend we went to DIsneyland Paris. It was a lot of fun. I would love to go back one day.

Disneyland is always a great idea! I’ve been to the one in California and the one in Tokyo but never the one in Paris. It looks just as fun as the others.

I have been to Disneyland Paris and I really enjoyed Pirates of the Caribbean their entryway is awesome. Also to be able to see 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and to walk thru was awesome. I did not care for their Haunted Mansion.
